The No'am Elimelech and the M'urev Hashemesh saw the face of the Ba'al Shem Tov within sparks of fire. The No'am Elimelech said that his own children would not be rabanim, (leaders) but rather become beggars. The No'am Elimelech was niftar (passed away) and was buried in the place he had selected for himself before his death. The gravesite of the Noam Elimelech became a very popular venue at which Jews go to daven (pray) and to beg for salvation. A number of frightening stories are told about people who tampered with the grave of the No'am Elmelech, and as a result even the nonJews are awed by this holy site. Reb Zusha and Reb Uri cried “their was one piece of truth left in the world and now it was taken from us.”
