Page 27. Every single word of Torah seeks to fulfill its tafkid (purpose) which is to satisfy our thirst for the dew of life. The deepest emotions are contained in Torah. In every single word of Torah is a spark of the Big Light which is revealed in everything. Every spark is valued in relation to the entire "picture." Learning Torah lishmah (for it's own sake) lifts up the learner to exalted spiritual levels.
