1.
I have selected shiurim, but they don’t show up in my shopping cart.
When
you select multiple shiurim on the same page by clicking on their respective
check-boxes, be sure to click the blue button [Add Selected Items To Cart] at
the bottom of that page. This will put your selections into your shopping cart;
you can then continue to select other shiurim on different pages or check out.
2.
Do my downloads ever expire?
No.
Your downloads remain in your account forever and, and your account remains on
the system as long as our system exists.
3. How
often can I download my shiurim?
As
many times as you like. They are always available to you.
4. Can
I change the e-mail address for my account?
Yes, you can, but we'll have to do it for you in our system. Please send the current account ID e-mail and the new e-mail address to support@ravmosheweinberger.com, and we'll make the switch.
5.
My computer/MP3 player broke; how do I get my downloads back?
No problem at all. Log
into your account, and all your downloads will be waiting in your Downloads
area.
6.
I purchased downloads on the old Aish Kodesh Audio site; how do I get those?
We have kept a complete
record of all purchases and can determine what you bought. We will place the
appropriate number of credits in your account and you can then reselect and
download those same shiurim (honor system) from our site.
7. Can
I share my shiurim with others?
The
terms and conditions are below, but the simple answer is that a shiur can be
shared only within your household. An example: You and your 800 children live
in one beautiful and very spacious apartment and all want to share Rav
Weinberger’s shiurim. That’s ok and requires only one bought shiur. Now one of
your children gets married, mazal tov, and moves into the apartment across the
hallway. That requires a second purchased copy of the shiur.
And here are the terms and conditions:
“You are purchasing Torah in digital form. It is
against Halachah and copyright laws to make copies of these files except as
outlined below:
The
file(s) you are purchasing is/are yours to enjoy for as long as you wish.
However, any copies you make must be limited to your 'personal use.'
·
'Personal use' extends to multiple copies created for current
household members, or for your personal use in multiple-locations such as your
office, home, or vehicle.
·
'Personal use' DOES NOT extend to copies made for family members
or friends living outside your home.
Limitations
on multiple copies extend from copying one single track of a particular shiur
to the entire library. These limitations include copies to reside on separate
computers, e-mailed from computer to computer, as well as on removable media
(i.e. CDs, flash media drives, etc.).”
8. What happens to my existing credits if I cancel my monthly subscription?
Unused credits roll over from month to month and remain in your account until you use them. This can be a month, a year, or until Mashiach comes! :-)
9. I'm unable to download directly from the site to my iPod, iPad or iPhone. What gives?
This is an Apple restriction and apparently has to do something with parental monitoring. Check out this forum link which provides some background and a number of potential workarounds.
10. I'm unable to listening by streaming directly from the site to my iPod, iPad or iPhone.
It runs for about ten minutes and then goes back to the beginning.
This, like (9), seems to be an Apple restriction and apparently has to do something with parental monitoring. We simply have no way of controlling this. If you are able to successfully stream from other sites, please let us know and we'll investigate further.
If none of these answers resolve the problem, please contact us at support@ravmosheweinberger.com |
